College Badminton

College League

CUBaC administers the popular intercollegiate league, with 72 teams and over 400 players competing for their College. We run an Open and a Women's League, and most Colleges have at least one team in each.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to play in the League you must be a current member (including Fellows) of a College, with the following exclusions:

• 1. Men who have played two or more BUCS matches in the same academic year are ineligible to play in the Open League.
• 2. Women who have played two or more BUCS matches in the same academic year are ineligible to play in the Women's League but may play in the Open League.

Cuppers

In addition to the College League, CUBaC also organises an annual intercollegiate tournament, called Cuppers.

This is played as a knockout tournament with the semi-finals and finals stages being played on one day at the University Sports Centre. In 2023 this was played on 11th March.
