Club Structure & Community
The Cambridge University Badminton Club (CUBaC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious badminton clubs in the country. Founded in the early 20th century by students at the University of Cambridge, we foster a vibrant community for players of all levels, from college enthusiasts to national-level competitors.
Main Squad (~45 players)
Elite competitive players focused on Varsity and BUCS success. Our top performers who represent Cambridge in the most prestigious competitions.
Development Squad (~24 players)
Weekly training under Main Squad coaching guidance. Rising talent with the potential to progress to elite level competition.
Clubnight (~50 players)
Weekly Saturday evening sessions combining structured training, competitive play, and social time - the heart of our club culture where friendships are formed.
College League (~700 players)
Inter-collegiate badminton league with 72 teams across Cambridge's colleges, culminating in the annual Cuppers tournament.
